Mid-upper trough has weakened and moved west over the central Caribbean Sea/Central Venezuela whilst an upper equatorial ridge has built over NE South America and the islands.
The ITCZ is active over these islands with an upper low/trough active near Leewards. The Upper trough is starting to exert influence on the ITCZ and induce a low to mid-level trough to the east of the Lesser Antilles.
Weather conditions over the Virgin and Leeward Islands will be partly cloudy, with a moderate chance of a few passing showers during the day and a moderate chance of showers for tonight.
