Adicia Burton- Miss Dominica 2023, will participate as a delegate in the United Nations Climate Change Conference 28 as an indigenous youth activist

She outlined the ways and actions of the Commonwealth in coping with issues such as climate change and the environment

Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit said he will also use the platform to highlight the needs of the small states in several developmental sectors.

Dominica is all set to establish the world's first ever marine protected area for the endangered marine species- Sperm Whale.

During his address, PM Gaston Browne will shed light on the impacts of the climate change, issues of the small island states, and sustainable development. 

The Secretary General of the Commonwealth attended the Africa Climate Summit 23 in Nairobi. She participated in a series of events, activities and held meetings with several diplomatic leaders.

Patricia Scotland- Secretary General of the Commonwealth, delivered the keynote address at UN Climate Change's CRFS Alliance, "Climate Resilience in Food System Why Act Now", at COP27.

Prime Minister Dr Roosevelt Skerrit delivered the speech at the opening session of the Regional Conference on 'Identifying Regional Challenges and Opportunities to Address the Issue of Marine Debris, Sargassum, and Marine Spatial Planning,' on Tuesday, April 5, 2022.

The Caribbean Community- CARICOM is making efforts to promote and support the development priorities in collaboration with Latin American and other partners which have worked for development.
