Saint Lucia is all set to host training sessions of Volleyball at the Vigie Mutipurpose Sports Complex. The participants will teach how to play volleyball free of cost every Tuesday and Thursday starting at 3: 00 pm.
Ministry of Youth Development and Sports of Saint Lucia announced the results of the Sagicor International Junior tennis championship being played at the National Tennis Centre in Beasejour, Gros Islet.
Gros Islet had to settle for 4th place and Mon Repos 3rd place, as the SLNCA 50 Overs Cricket Tournament 2023 comes to an end. In the 3rd place play off, Mon Repos recorded a comfortable 7 wicket victory over Gros Islet on Sunday, July 30, at the Mindoo Phillip Park.
Gros Islet batting first after being inserted by Mabouya Valley made 254 for 8 in their allotted 34 overs, with Tyrel Chicot top scoring with a brilliant half-century.
: In the second match of the day, District 8 Challengers enjoyed a 41-run win over District 7 Blasters. Batting first, Challengers made 161 all out in 18 .5 overs with captain Cleyanus Jules top scoring with 41, Cody Fontinelle 27, 18 each to Garette Alphonse and Jude Joseph.
