Grenada: SVG Grenada Air launched an additional Twin Otter aircraft to increase the connectivity between Grenada, Carriacou, St Vincent and the Grenadines. The aircraft will enhance the reliability of the service between these islands.
The government of Grenada expressed pleasure and said that the introduction of the Otter aircraft would enhance the connectivity between the regions. The Twin-Otter consisted of 19 seats and registered as J8-GND.
The introduction of the aircraft will enhance the service of the SVG Air and provide more options and easier access to their desired destination. SVG Air also announced the schedule of the flights, which is strategically designed to cater for the needs of the travellers. It will offer departures on Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

- The flight will fly on the route from St Vincent to Carriacou at 8 00.
- The flight will fly on the route from Carriacou to Grenada at 8: 40
- The Twin Otter aircraft will provide service from Grenada to Carriacou at 9: 15
- The flight will fly on the route from Carriacou to Grenada at 16: 00.
- The service will be provided on the route from Grenada to Carriacou and Carriacou to St Vincent at 16 30.
The aircraft will provide enhanced service to the travellers in their travel plans and evaluate their daily services in the aircraft.

The government of Grenada said that they continuesto work on ways of improving air access to Carriacou and Petite Martinique, Minister for Carriacou and Petite Martinique Affairs and Local Government Tevin Andrews has commended SVG Grenada Air on the commencement of services with their new twin otter plane.
The airline, which connects passengers travelling from St. Vincent, Carriacou and Grenada, has officially commenced services with the new twin otter,
Minister Andrews said this is a step in the right direction in improving travel between Grenada and the sister isles and aids in making the twin isle parish more marketable.
SVG Air Grenada, in announcing the new aircraft, said with the introduction of the new twin otter, the possibility of daily flights is being evaluated.
