Premier Mark Brantley asserted, “I have always said that crime is a social problem that requires all of society’s responses. We in the Federation and, more specifically, in Nevis have seen a steady decline in crime over the recent years.”

He added that this has been due to interventions such as the Peace Programme, growth in jobs, substantial investment in technology such as CCTV, excellent police work and most importantly, a change in attitudes as our people recognize the value of living together in peace.
