Castries, St Lucia: The St Lucia Tourism Authority has been working and seeking proposals from a Consultant (individual or company) for the development and execution of a Tourism Awareness Campaign in Saint Lucia. 

Moreover, the Tourism Authority has also provided the various selecting factors that would be approved by the Authority to boost the tourism sector in the country.

the proposal that is cost-effective and that provides the greatest efficiency in the execution process.

The Consultant will be required to:  

  • To undertake a diagnostic assessment to determine the attitudes and knowledge of persons towards tourism development and tourism in general and to evaluate the areas that need attention. This should include not being limited to stakeholder interviews, perception surveys etc. 
  • Develop a plan that helps raise awareness of the opportunities, economic impact, and value of the tourism industry. A program that encompasses developing St Lucian provide and sharing the culture and customs of St Lucia with the world. 
  • Provide a solution for the most suitable, cost-effective and efficient method to implement the Tourism Awareness Campaign
  • Execute the Tourism Awareness Campaign. 
  • Make recommendations for staffing requirements for the sustainable continuation of tourism awareness with St Lucia. 

Proposal Submission Requirements:

  • Proposals should include a cover to the attention of the Chief Executive Officer. The Cover letter must the name of the proposing individual/company, the name of the professional proposed to provide this for the duration of the project, email address, postal address and telephone numbers. 
  • Proposals must clearly outline the responsibilities both of the Authority and that of the Consultant. 

The Authority plans to select and award contact to the best qualified will then mutually discuss and refine the scope of works for the period and shall negotiate final conditions. 

All documents prepared by the Consultant shall remain the sole property of the Authority; the Consultant shall not, during and after the term of the content, use or disclose any confidential information regarding the business or operations of the Authority.
