Castries, St Lucia: Deputy Prime Minister and Parliamentary Representative for Castries Constituency Ernest Hilaire shared an update on the Travel and Adventure show held in Denver. In the show, St Lucia showcased its magnificent and exceptional products, which are great tourist attractions.

The Saint Lucia Tourism Authority (SLTA) continued to showcase the island’s adventure products from April 30 to May 1, 2022, at the Travel & Adventure Show in Denver, at the Colorado Convention Center.

The Authority was represented by Sales Officer Racquel John, who displayed the destination’s accommodations, DMCs, dive options, wedding planning information, and Saint Lucia’s wide range of tours and attractions.

The event welcomed Travel Advisors who have sold St Lucia, those with groups scheduled to visit in the fall, as well as Travel Advisors who are interested in becoming St Lucia Experts (SLEx).

Many visitors to the booth took home local candy and St Lucia bags. They remarked that St Lucia’s family accommodation options stood out at the event. Some also noted that they had visited via cruise ship, and several others are booked to visit during 2022 and 2023.

Others have now placed St Lucia on their bucket list thanks to sales efforts at the show and the rave reviews of those who already visited.

Earlier, St Lucia was on full display at The Outdoor Adventure Show in Toronto, Canada, from April 29 to May 1. The event was the largest consumer show in Canada that brings together buyers and sellers of outdoor adventure products and services.

The St Lucia Tourism Authority was represented by the Head of PR for the Canadian market- Andrew Ricketts of Total Public Relations. He was joined by Elaine Carnegie, Representative of Anse Chastanet and Jade Mountain.

St Lucia presents a wide range of outdoor adventure activities, from hiking trails to helicopter tours, ATV, kayaking, diving, jet-skiing, ziplining, jungle biking, day cruises, and so much more. Canada is known as St Lucia’s fourth-largest tourism market.
