St Lucia PM praises ‘Bradly Felix’ for rehabilitating works

St Lucia: Prime Minister of St Lucia praised Bradly Felix for fulfilling his promise to rehabilitate the Park Estate/Gia Bois community road, which has been neglected for decades.

PM Allen Chastanet said, “True to his word, as usual, Hon. Bradly Felix has begun delivering on his promise to rehabilitate the Park Estate/Gia Bois community road, which has been neglected for decades.

He added, “During and upon completion of this road rehabilitation, residents will benefit from the jobs created due to this project, easier and more convenient access to their community especially in the event of an emergency, savings on fuel and vehicle maintenance costs as well as increased real estate values which translates into wealth for the residents of the community.”

In his works, residents of St Lucia reacted in different ways; Joe Bae said, “That’s the only country in the world is going through development in such a pandemic. All countries focusing on this killer virus are not here when they finish; they beat their blood clot to citizens to keep protocols and wear masks but nothing for tourism.

“He has begun a great work, and surely, he will bring it to completion. A man of the people,” said Jane.

Earlier, PM Allen, today paid tribute to Mr. Gordon.

PM Allen, in his social media, said,” Mr. Gordon “Butch” Stewart was undoubtedly a Caribbean icon and legend. His vision, hard work, and marketing genius helped solidify the Caribbean brand internationally over the last 30 years.”

Prime Minister of St Lucia added, “I will forever cherish his wisdom, his love for Saint Lucia, his faith in the potential of our amazing people, and his confidence in the Caribbean brand.”

He noted, “Rest in Eternal Peace, my friend. You will surely be missed.”

Jane, a resident of St Lucia, said, “He certainly left a huge and irreplaceable footprint in the Caribbean.”
