St Lucia: PM Pierre expresses pleasure in reopening of Trou Rouge Park

 Prime Minister Philip J Pierre shared an update on the project of the rehabilitation of the Trou Rouge Park in St Lucia.

Castries, St Lucia: Prime Minister Philip J Pierre shared an update on the project of the rehabilitation of the Trou Rouge Park in St Lucia. On Sunday, May 28, 2022, the rehabilitation of the Park has completed, and finally, it came into use for the people of the country. 

The Park is prominent in St Lucia, where the children across the Castries East usually visit to play different games and enhance their skills. The Parks are essential to remain in touch with the natural elements of our earth and also provide a platform for the people to come and interact with different personalities. 

Prime Minister Philip J Pierre also expressed pleasure over the completion of the rehabilitation of the Park, which became able to welcome children across the community where they could recreate their children’s magic. 

PM Pierre noted, “Today was a joyous day for me, the parents and especially the children of Castries East. After years of neglect, the Trou Rouge Park has finally been rehabilitated and is now safe for our children to recreate.” 

The ParkPark has been rehabilitated after facing neglect for atleast one year. 

Further, he also stated that the facility of the WiFi in the community was also restored during his first month as Prime Minister and outlined that the day is significant for the added celebration. 

Prime Minister Philip J Pierre emphasized, “The WiFi was restored during my first month as Prime Minister, so Today was an added celebration.” 

Meanwhile, PM Pierre also extended gratitude to the people of the constituency for their significant patients and support as the Park was closed for atleast one year, and due to their support, the government could become able to make it a reality. 

He said, “Thank you for your patience and support as we continue the work in our constituency.”

Prime Minister Philip J Pierre and his government is doing incredible work for the upliftment of the people of St Lucia. He is investing in various developmental projects in the country significantly.
