St Lucia: St Lucia Prime Minister, Allen Chastanet government, has recently given a piece of good news for the Saintlucians. In a video message, the prime minister said that his government would allocate 400 more ICT jobs to Vieux Fort opening in January 2021.
He added that “I extremely grateful to Itelbposmart Solutions for their faith and belief in Saint Lucians.
On the PM step, Domitiana Rene said: “You doing a great job pm continue to press on for the people more blessings.”
PM Allen is continuously making his efforts to develop St Lucia; recently, his government had initiated a significant rehabilitation/clean-up project to give the CDC buildings a facelift in the heart of the city.
The buildings are currently being cleaned and repainted in our national colours and currently employs approximately 50 persons.
On this project, a Saint Lucian lady Yolanda Joseph said “I applaud the effort; however, my problem with this is the lack of consistency. While there are certain aspects of upkeep we can task the occupants with, major updates like power washing, painting, crack repairs, on-time garage removal have been a problem for as long as I can remember. For buildings in the heart of our capital, I propose regular updates and not just “election time updates” be done to these buildings in order to preserve the integrity, of our beloved Castries.”
PM Allen gave Christmas present for these residents of the town of Gros Islet who’ve had to endure lousy community roads for over 25 years.
On this effort, a local resident said that. , “Now our road smoother than the new Guinness.”
Another resident Sharon Terrell “What a beautiful road good Job P.M. good Job minister Leonard Spider Montoute. We need good roads,we have Cars, minibus drivers will appreciate it they will stop talking about their ”Shocks” getting broken, costing them money.”
