Castries, St Lucia: The 2022 Ministry of Youth Development and Sports Secondary School 40 Overs Under – 15 Cricket Tournament continued on Monday, June 20, with two more matches. At the Mindoo Philip Park, Patricia D James recorded a hard-fought 2-wicket victory over Castries Comprehensive Secondary. Castries Comprehensive batting first was dismissed for 85 with Kareem Francis making 31 and Lynzie James 11.

Bowling for Patricia D James, Stanislas Menal 5 for 10 in 6 overs, Mc Kendy Cadette 3 for 10 in 7 overs and 1 wicket to Kimani Clement.

In response, Patricia D James got to their target, finishing on 86 for 8 with Mc Kendy Cadette making 26.

Bowling for Castries Comprehensive, Caden Francois 6 for 20 in 8 overs and 1 wicket to Kaylum Thomas.

RESULT: PATRICIA D JAMES SECONDARY DEFEATED CASTRIES COMPREHENSIVE SECONDARY BY 2 WICKETS.

At the Phillip Marcellin Ground, Choiseul Secondary enjoyed a 144 run victory over Beanefield Secondary. Choiseul Secondary batting first made 171 for 8 in 23 overs with Jermain Thomas making 32, Shaquan Thomas 29, Denzi Jn Paul 16 not out, Emmanur Dominique 12 and 11 each to Jeanine William and Kurlid Alexander.

The wicket takers for Beanefield Secondary were, Jaylan David with 3 for 34 in 4 overs, Siaus Brun 2 for 19 in 5 overs, Derlan St Ange 2 for 35 in 6 overs and 1 wicket to Herman Isidore.

In reply Beanefield Secondary was dismissed for 27 in 12.1 overs.

The wicket takers for Choiseul Secondary were Christian Peter with 5 for 13 in 5 overs, Denize Jn Paul 3 for 6 in 5 overs and 1 wicket each to Terry George and Jeanille William.

RESULT: CHOISEUL SECONDARY DEFEATED BEANEFIELD SECONDARY BY 144 RUNS.
