Castries, St Lucia: The Saint Lucia Tourism Authority’s Caribcation team visited the Ciceron Secondary school on Friday, June 17, 2022.

Marketing Officer Racquel John and Public Relations Officer Rondel Charles presented a comprehensive overview of tourism and career paths within the sector and advised the students on the responsibility of citizens in keeping Saint Lucia safe and clean.

The students were graced with the presence of the first-ever Carnival Queen Contestant under the Caribcation Brand, Nadege Mc Lauren.

A young entrepreneur and music artist herself, Miss Caribcation presented on the creative industry and its various careers. She also encouraged the students to focus on achieving their goals.

Destination Marketing Presentation to the membership of the Saint Lucia Hospitality and Carnival Association. This presentation highlights top line activities, objectives for the fiscal year 2022-2033, and sustainable development initiatives and opportunities for the destination. 

South Florida and neighboring regions experienced the Summer ‘Saint Lucia Style’ Roadshow on June 16. The informative and interactive showcase held at Jungle Island, highlighted our summer offerings which include up to 60% off on accommodations and tours, the return of major events like Saint Lucia Carnival 2022, and news on the destination.

The Florida region, and travellers desirous of connecting, now have more options of flying to Saint Lucia, thanks to a second daily flight with American Airlines from Miami International Airport (MIA) to Hewanorra International Airport (UVF), Saint Lucia. This second daily service will operate from June through to August and then resume in the Winter, from December 15.

The event welcomed well over 60 Travel Agents, Consumer and Travel Media, Airline, and Trade Partners. Diaspora leaders were present, and the Saint Lucia Consulate Office in Miami was represented.
