St Kitts and Nevis: St Kitts welcomed Celebrity Apex and the Marella Explorer 2 cruise vessels docked at St. Kitts’ Port Zante with thousands of cruise passengers. 

It was another good day for cruise tourism in St. Kitts, as the Celebrity Apex and the Marella Explorer 2 cruise vessels docked at St. Kitts’ Port Zante with thousands of cruise passengers.

While here, the visitors patronized the various outlets at Port Zante, walked around Basseterre and took tours to the various tourist attractions and beautiful beaches in St. Kitts.

St. Kitts prepares for the inaugural cruise call of the largest cruise ship in the world “Wonder of The Seas” as we reminisce on past cruise calls from its sister ships. 

This month the St Kitts Tourism Authority held the St. Kitts State of the Industry Event at the Park Hyatt to educate stakeholders and partners within the Tourism Industry on the present state of the industry and marketing opportunities in St. Kitts. Royal Caribbean Group’s Regional Vice President of Government Relations for the Caribbean, Wendy A. McDonald, served as one of the esteemed panelists at the event.

On Monday 14th November, Prime Minister of the Federation of St. Kitts and Nevis, Dr. Terrance Drew, Minister of Tourism, Marsha Henderson, other Cabinet Ministers and executives from the St. Kitts Tourism Authority, St Christopher Air and Sea Ports Authority and port agents from Delisle Walwyn & Co Ltd., convened a meeting with representatives from Carnival Corporation and P&O Cruises.

In its effort to robustly market St. Kitts to various demographics, the St. Kitts Tourism Authority is pleased to be hosting Canadian media and journalists on island who are provided with the rich opportunity to fully immerse themselves in the destination’s unique history, vibrant culture, stunning attraction sites, and ethereal experiences.
