The situation of the viral infection of the novel coronavirus is stabilising as from the consecutive two days, St Kitts and Nevis have reported no additional cases in the last 24 hours on Monday, February 21, 2022.

The vaccination report of the Health Ministry of St Kitts and Nevis has informed that a total of seven people have been recovered from the viral illness on Monday.

As per the status of the vaccination report, a total of 77.1 percent of the total adult population have been vaccinated with the second jab against the viral infection of the novel coronavirus in St Kitts and Nevis.

On the other hand, a total of 82.5 percent of the total adult population have received the first dose of the vaccine against the viral infection of the novel coronavirus. Moreover, the rate of the people who have received the booster dose stood at 9.1 percent in St Kitts and Nevis.

While, the vaccination among the children between 12-17 stood at 18.4 per cent who have received the second dose of the vaccine against the viral infection of the novel coronavirus, on the other hand, the rate of the children who have been administered the second dose of the vaccine stood at 16.7 percent.

Since the pandemic has emerged in the country, a total of 5,523 people have been exposed to the viral infection caused by the novel coronavirus, while a total of 42 people have succumbed to the viral disease caused by the contagious mutant.

As per the health ministry, a total of 25 active cases due to the viral illness caused by the novel coronavirus have been reported in St kitts and Nevis

The Health Ministry further reported that a total of 5,456 people had been recovered from the novel coronavirus so far. Out of the recoveries, a total of 4,632 people have been recovered in St Kitts, while 824 people recovered from Nevis.
