St Kitts and Nevis welcomes Romania Ambassador “Mircea” to strengthen bilateral ties

Basseterre, St Kitts and Nevis: Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Civil Aviation welcomed the Ambassador of Romania to St Kitts and Nevis, named Theodora Magdalena Mircea. The Federation of St Kitts and Nevis have welcomed the newly accredited Ambassador of Romania, Theodora Magdalena Mircea. 

Ambassador Mircea has been scheduled to present Letters of Credence to the Governor-General of St Kitts and Nevis, S. W. Tapley Seaton, on Monday, March 28, 2022. 

Further, during his visit to the Federation of St Kitts and Nevis, Ambassador of Romania Mircea would pay courtesy calls to a number of senior Government officials. She has visited the Federation of St Kitts and Nevis on a courtesy call. Ambassador of Romania Mircea will meet Minister of Foreign Affairs and Aviation, Mark Brantley, Minister of Tourism Lindsay Grant, Minister of Education Jonel Powell, Minister of International Trade, Wendy Phipps. 

The meeting will address various matters of concern that will further strengthen the diplomatic relations between the two countries.  

Further, the courtesy calls and meetings will feature discussions of the various matters of concern which will target the diplomatic relations of both countries at various paces.  

The number of matters also included the Romanian learning influence that is being brought to the fore for discussions. It also included various training and several initiatives. 

Various programs were, including the Regional Police Training, Training for Diplomats, Academic Scholarships in Horticulture, Graphic Design, Kinesiotherapy, and Information Technology. 

The Ambassador of Romania to St Kitts and Nevis would also discuss the details of various other projects that will influence the matters of St Kitts and Nevis Romania. 

She will also discuss various matters, which include the details of a potential Water Project for the Federation of St Kitts and Nevis. 

Both the countries further have tried to deepen their relations and also made efforts to develop their friendships relations by formalizing diplomatic relations back in 2009. It also continues to dialogue on various areas of cooperation that are of mutual benefit to them both.
