St Kitts and Nevis welcomes inaugural call of Seabourn Venture, PM Terrance Drew shows pleasure
St Kitts and Nevis: St Kitts and Nevis welcomed the inaugural call of the Seabourn Venture to its shores on Monday, October 10, 2022. The St. Kitts cruise sector continues to boom, with an additional new ship starting to visit the destination.
The Ministry of Tourism, ably led by Marsha Henderson, the St. Kitts Tourism Authority (SKTA), and other stakeholders in the tourism industry all came in for high praise from Prime Minister Dr Terrance Drew for this development.
On Monday, October 10. 2022 Prime Minister Dr Terrance Drew, along with the CEO of the St. Kitts Tourism Authority, Ellison Thomas, led a delegation of stakeholders to give a special welcome to the Captain, crew and passengers of the Seabourn Venture at the Carambola Beach Club at South Friars Bay.
While hosting the exchange ceremony at the Carambola Beach Club, SKTA invited everyone to where the Seabourn Venture is docked.
There, Prime Minister Dr Drew brought greetings on behalf of Minister Henderson who is currently representing the Federation at the Florida Caribbean Cruise Association (FCCA) Conference with the Heads of Government and cruise executives.
He further extended exceptional wording on a special day and stated that today is a special day not only because it is the first call of the Seabourn Venture, but also, because this is the first inaugural of the new season under her administration.
PM Terrance Drew stated that he had the pleasure of bringing remarks at the Inaugural Cost of the Seabourn Venture Plaque Exchange Ceremony on behalf of the people of the Federation and the Minister of Tourism, Marsha Henderson, at the inaugural ceremony this morning.
He added that Marsha Henderson is currently representing the Federation at the Florida Caribbean Cruise Association (FCCA) Conference with the Heads of Government and cruise executives.
“I must commend the honourable minister and her team for the tremendous job they have done thus far. I am proud of the work the Ministry has conducted over the past months, and I look forward to the new tourist season, “said the prime minister.
