St Kitts and Nevis: The Eastern Caribbean Central Bank (ECCB) and St Kitts and Nevis Robotics Association (SKNRA) announced their partnership in organizing the RoboMindset: Nurturing Innovative and Adaptive Thinking through Robotics Program Summer Camp. This unique opportunity will take place from July 3rd to July 28th, 2023, targeting young individuals aged 13 to 18.
RoboMindset aims to provide a hands-on experience in robotics, nurturing critical thinking, problem-solving, and teamwork skills. The camp prepares the youth of St Kitts and Nevis for the future by cultivating an innovative and adaptive mindset.
During the four-week camp, participants will engage in various robotics activities and projects, exploring cutting-edge technologies and their real-world applications. Qualified trainers will guide students in developing their STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) skills, enhancing creativity, and building confidence in utilizing robotics for innovation.
The camp will run half-day sessions each day, accommodating 110 students/participants. To ensure personalized learning, smaller groups will be formed, allowing for individual attention and mentorship. The program will be simultaneously held on both islands, offering equal access and opportunities to young individuals across St Kitts and Nevis.
“We are excited to launch the RoboMindset summer camp in collaboration with the ECCB,” said Dr. Ricardo Neil, Chairman of the St Kitts and Nevis Robotics Association. “This camp is a wonderful opportunity for our youth to explore the exciting world of robotics, develop crucial skills, and ignite their passion for innovation.”
