St Kitts and Nevis to host round 2 of Football Premier League, announces schedule

St Kitts and Nevis: St Kitts and Nevis Football Association (SKNFA) will host the round 2 of the premier league of the football from May 5 to May 7, 2023. The association shared the weekend schedule of the matches at the different venues.

On Friday, May 5, 2023: The two matches will be held on this day which will be as follows:

  • First match will be held between CONAREE and SADDLERS at 6: 00 pm. The venue for the match is Verchilds.
  • Second match will be held between NEWTOWN and OLD ROAD at 8: 15 pm. The venue for the match is Verchilds.

On Saturday, May 6, 2023: The schedule of the two matches are as follows:

  • The first match will be held between CAYON and SECURITY FORCES at 6: 00 pm. The venue for the match is Cayon in St Kitts and Nevis.
  • The teams such as St PETERS and GARDEN HOTSPURS will be played in the second match of the premier league at 8: 15 pm. The venue for the match is Cayon.

On Sunday, May 7, 2023: The schedule of the matches will be as follows:

  • The match will be held at Warner Park of St Kitts and Nevis and the team are Village Superstars and Bath United.
  • The teams such as St Paul’s United and Sandy Point will play in the second match of the premier league at 4: 15 pm. The match will be held at Warner Park.

Earlier, St Kitts and Nevis Football Association hosted the round 1 of the premier league from April 28 to April 30, 2023. The teams were Village Superstars, St Peters, Security Forces, Newtown, St Pauls United, Bath United, Conaree, Old Road, Cayon, Sandy Point, Garden Hostspurs and Saddlers. The matches were held at different fields.

After the staging of the round 1 matches, the points standing are as follows:

  • Cayon Rockets stands at top in the points table with 26 points.
  • St Paul’s United stand at second spot with 21 points
  • Old RoadUnited Jets secured third position in the league standing with 20 points.
  • Newtown United captured fourth spot with 20 points
  • Conaree is on 5th spot with 18 points
  • St Peters is on 6thy spot with 18 points
  • Village Superstars secured 7th spot with 14 points
  • Garden Hotspurs is on 8th position with 14 points
  • Bath United is on 9th position and 14 points
  • Saddlers United is on 10 spot with 9 points
