St Kitts and Nevis to host first annual Seniors Prom, know deets

St Kitts and Nevis: The first annual Seniors Prom is all set to take place on the shores of St Kitts and Nevis. The event will be held on October 27, 2023 at St Kitts Marriot Resort, Frigate Bay, from 6: 00 pm to 8: 00 pm.

The Ministry of Youth Empowerment, Ageing and Disabilities will host the event and invite the citizens to partake in an enchanting garden experience.

Seniors Prom event will focus on the entertainment of the senior citizens of the country. It will provide them with a chance to enjoy their life at the age where people prefer to sit at their houses. The government of St Kitts and Nevis will create a platform for the seniors to fulfill their desires at their age.

Deputy Prime Minister Geoffrey Hanely shared the update and said, “We continue to collect contributions of dresses and suits and look forward to seeing you at the event on October 27th for a small contribution of just $50.00 per person.”

He also invited the senior citizens to participate in the event.

The Ministry of Youth Empowerment said that night will be memorable for the senior citizens as it will enhance their lifestyle. The event will celebrate the age experience of the senior citizens and make them share it with the attendees.

The celebration of the senior citizens in the seniors prom will create social interaction between the different communities. The event will feature a live band marking the performances of the local DJs. The music, dance and fun will be the focal point of the event.

Senior Proms will offer several activities and contests for the participants. The government will also distribute prizes to the winners of the competitions. The citizens can register for the event and book their day for the ultimate fun and entertainment.

The tickets will also be available for the participants for a $50 contribution.

Besides this, the Ministry of Youth Empowerment invited the donation of prom gowns and suits for the seniors for the first annual Senior Proms. The deadline for the submission of the gowns and suits on Saturday, September 30, 2023.
