St Kitts and Nevis to honour netball legends of 1973, 1978, announces activities 

St Kitts and Nevis: St Kitts and Nevis is all set to host “Week of Activities” to celebrate and honour the netball legends of 1973 and 1978. The tournament will be held from August 13 to August 19, 2023.

St Kitts Caribbean Netball Legends shared the schedule of the matches for the Netball tournament.

The team of the Federation has made history by securing a momentous victory for St Kitts Netball in the Caribbean Netball Championships, marking the FIRST time their island emerged triumphant. 

From fierce passes to jubilant smiles, this team brought home the glory from Grenada.

In 1978, St Kitts Netball Team clinched the Caribbean Netball Championships for the second time. It’s been 45 years since that glorious moment.

Dr Thelma Phillip – Browne, a member of the victorious Netball team of 1973. She will soon be joined by her teammates from 50 years ago and they’re doubling up the excitement by uniting them with the triumphant 1978 champs.
