St Kitts and Nevis: Shawn Richards pens down thanks note for support throughout election cycle

While extending gratitude to the people of the Federation and stated that he is very thankful for their support and encouragement throughout this election cycle. 

St Kitts and Nevis: Shawn K Richards– Leader of the People’s Action Movement, took to social media and penned down a heartfelt message for the people of St Kitts and Nevis after the declaration of the result of the general elections on August 5, 2022. 

While extending gratitude to the people of the Federation and stated that he is very thankful for their support and encouragement throughout this election cycle. 

He noted, “I’d like to take this moment to thank you all for your support and encouragement throughout this election cycle.” 

Shawn Richards specially penned down words for his constituent of Sandy Points and said it’s difficult to find adequate words to describe how much your support means. “Thank you for your continued faith in me and for coming out and electing me to represent you once again.” 

Uttering words for the campaigning team, Shawn Richards extended thank you to the PAM campaign team, election day workers and the many volunteers. He said he is very blessed, especially by those who prayed for them all along the way. “You have my heartfelt thanks.” 

Lauding PAM supporters, PAM Leader said thank you to them for the generous support and for governing their precious team to them. He added, “To our PAM supporters, thank you for generously sharing your time and energy with us, for showing up time and again at events and for spending hours in line on election day. We look forward to engaging with you soon, and we are committed to continuing to put you first.” 

At the poll, St Kitts and Nevis Labour Party recorded a landslide victory by winning a majority in 6 constituencies. Now, Dr Terrance Drew– Leader of SKNLP, will serve as the new and fourth prime minister of the twin-island Federation. 

People’s Labour Party under Dr Timothy Harris and People’s Action Movement under Shawn K Richards achieved disappointment after managing to secure only one seat for each.
