St Kitts and Nevis reports five active COVID-19 cases

The toll of the active cases of the COVID-19 pandemic stood at five and four active cases have been reported from St Kitts. Currently, there is one new active case have been treated in Nevis.

St Kitts and Nevis: The toll of the active cases of the COVID-19 pandemic stood at five and four active cases have been reported from St Kitts. Currently, there is one new active case have been treated in Nevis.

St Kitts and Nevis reported a total of 26,429 people to have been fully vaccinated.  Moreover, the Health Ministry of the twin-island Federation has administered 57,791 doses to the people of the country. A 77.9 percent of the total adult population received a second dose of the vaccine against the viral infection of the novel coronavirus.

St Kitts and Nevis reported zero new cases of the novel coronavirus over the past 24 hours on Sunday, April 10, 2022. St Kitts and Nevis have vaccinated 9.7 percent with booster shots against the viral infection of the novel coronavirus to the population of the country.

As per the reports, a total of zero people have been recovered from the viral infection in the Federation over the last 24 hours.

A total of 4,699 people have been exposed to the novel coronavirus since the pandemic has emerged in the country in St Kitts.

On the other hand, the reaming 837 people have been reported from Nevis so far.

The Health Ministry further stated that a total of 5,490 people had been recovered from the twin-island Federation against the viral infection caused by the novel coronavirus.

Out of the total recoveries, the number of recoveries against the COVID-19 pandemic has been reported from St Kitts stood at 4,660. On the other hand, the number of recoveries from the Nevis is 830.

As per the reports, there are no additional fatalities due to the viral infection that has been reported from the twin-island Federation. A total of 42 people have lost their lives due to the COVID-19 pandemic since the pandemic has emerged in the country.

A total of 35 people have succumbed to the viral infection caused by the novel coronavirus in St Kitts.

On the other hand, a total of 7 people have lost their lives in Nevis.

As per the reports of the tests, a total of 61,449 samples that have been processed against the viral infection of the novel coronavirus have been tested negative against the COVID-19 pandemic in the twin-island Federation as per the reports of the Health Minister.
