St Kitts and Nevis have reported four cases of the viral infection caused by the novel coronavirus in the past 24 hours on Saturday, February 26, 2022. The Health Ministry of the twin-island Federation informed that one person had been received and tested negative against the pandemic on Saturday.

With the emergence of the new cases, the toll of the confirmed cases due to the SARS-CoV-2 infection has increased to 5,530 in the last 24 hours, out of the total cases, a total of 4,693 cases reported in St Kitts, while the remaining 837 cases confirmed in Nevis.

As per the Health Ministry, the number of people who have been recovered from the COVID-19 infection stood at 5,473, out of which a total of 4,644 recovers have been reported from St Kitts; on the other hand, 829 people recovered from Nevis.

The toll of the active cases in the country stood at 15, and the number of deaths related to the viral infection has reached 42.

A total of 35 deaths were reported from St Kitts, while seven deaths due to the SARS-CoV-2 have recovered from Nevis.

Meanwhile, the vaccination report of the Health Ministry of the Federation stated that a total of 26,319 people are fully vaccinated.

The toll of the people who have received the two doses of the vaccine against the viral infection of the novel coronavirus stood at 57,509 in the country

On the other hand, a total of 43,705 doses have been administered the vaccine of the COVID-19 to the people of St Kitts, while the health ministry has administered 13,804 doses of the vaccine to Nevis.

The toll of the booster shot of the vaccine against the COVID-19 pandemic in the Federation stood at 3,028.

The rate of the second dose of the vaccine of the total population stood at 77.2 percent, while 82.6 percent received the first dose of the vaccine.
