St Kitts and Nevis records 2,686 total active COVID-19 cases since pandemic hits the federation

St Kitts and Nevis records 2,686 total active COVID-19 cases since pandemic hits the federation. The new health updation shows 136 active COVID-19 cases out of this 11 are new COVID-19 cases have been reported in last 24 hrs. Till now, there were 25 deaths noted on the island.

There are 0 imported cases in St Kitts and Nevis.52,909 total persons have been tested for COVID-19 by the medicals teams of St Kitts and Nevis. After the results came, a total of 2,686 people been reported positive, and other 50,223 people who were reported negative. 4 test reports are still pending.

According to the updation, there are 149 people who have quarantined themselves at their residence. 24 cases are quarantine at the government facilities. 136 people are in isolation on the island. 23,102 have been released from the quarantine. 2,525
people had recovered in St Kitts and Nevis.

Health Ministry had given the instructions those are released to mitigate the wide spread of COVID-19 virus on the island. As the virus rigorously spreads from the hands so to stop this infection every person has been requested to wash the hands properly with soap or alcohol based solution.

A person should cover the nose and mouth with the elbow bent or with a tissue while coughing or sneezing to stop the spread of the virus in the air. After using the tissue, dispose of it and wash the hand properly. The report said not to touch the nose, face, or mouth and eyes as the virus mainly transmits from these surfaces. While following the social distancing, stay at a distance of 6 feet during social interactions. If the person feels unwell, he or she should stay at home and inform the medical authorities so that they should come and test you.
