Nevis: People of St Kitts and Nevis are all set to go to the polls Today, August 5, 2022. Premier of Nevis and the leader of the Concerned Citizens Movement- Mark Brantley, wished for fair and free elections.
Through his social media, he stated that he prayed to god for his beloved St Kitts and Nevis. He hoped that with the blessings of Jehovah God, the entire process of the 2022 general elections would be fair and free from any kind of fear.
Premier Brantley noted, “Today, we pray for our country that as we all exercise our franchise, Jehovah God will guide and protect us and that the election process will be fair and free from fear. Amen.”
St Kitts and Nevis undergo for general election Today with 11 parliamentary seats. Nevis consisted of three seats. The candidates of the Concerned Citizens Movement from constituencies 9, 10, 11 are as follows:
From Constituency 9- Mark Brantley will conduct the election
From Constituency 10- Eric Evelyn will contest the election
From Constituency 11- Alexis Jeffers will contest the election

- Gingerland Secondary School
Premier Mark Brantley also asked people to vote for the Concerned Citizens Movement as they are right for their people. They are contesting an election in a coalition with the People’s Action Movement under the One Movement Government name.
The One Movement also launched their Manifesto, in which they pledged to strengthen different sectors of the country with their effective policies and agendas. They promised to give 500 jobs and announced a $100 million dream fund for St Kitts and Nevis.
Various political parties such as St Kitts and Nevis Labour Party under the leadership of Terrance Drew, People’s Labour Party under the leadership of Dr Timothy Harris, and People’s Action Movement under the leadership of Shawn K Richards are contesting general elections.
