St Kitts and Nevis: Prime Minister of St Kitts and Nevis, Dr Terrance Drew, shared a glimpse of the final day of the 72nd meeting of the OECS authority. The meeting was held in Montserrat.
Prime Minister Terrance Drew also delivered the keynote address at the opening ceremony of the OECS meeting. During the address, he outlined various challenges faced by leaders across the globe in recent times.
He added, “I am still here in Montserrat on the final day of the 72nd Meeting of the OECS Authority.”
On the final day, he also attended a variety of Caucus Plenary Sessions on various matters of concern. He also touched on major topics such as regional integration matters.
Prime Minister Terrance Drew stated that he attended a variety of Caucus Plenary Sessions on regional integration matters, particularly around enhanced cooperation and matters of information related to reports of various councils and assemblies.
He also took part in a zoom meeting last evening with the Prime Minister of Canada, Justin Trudeau and the other heads of government continuing ongoing talks and seeking solutions on the issues faced by Haiti.
Prime Minister Drew was accompanied by Naeemah Hazelle, Permanent Secretary, Office of the Prime Minister and Samuel Berridge, Senior Assistant Secretary, Regional Integration and Diaspora Unit, in the Office of the Prime Minister.
PM Terrance Drew also met with Prime Minister of Grenada Dickon Mitchell with colleague leaders and Premier of the British Virgin Islands, Dr Natalio Wheatley.
All three leaders delivered maiden addresses at the 72nd Meeting of the OECS Authority currently underway in Montserrat.
