St Kitts and Nevis: Prime Minister- Dr Terrance Drew declared the list of holidays for the new year in St Kitts and Nevis. He extended greetings for the holidays and wished for a happy holiday season in 2023.
As the world is all set to enter into the new year and bid farewell to the year 2022, Prime Minister Dr Terrance Drew shared the calendar of holidays on his Facebook account. He stated that the next year will contain a total of 12 holidays.
He shared the update on the holiday season in 2023 while extending greetings of Christmas and cited,” Season’s Greetings, Christmas is my favourite time of the year. I take this opportunity to wish you a happy holiday season enriched with culture and a bright and prosperous New Year.”

The calendar of holidays is as follows:
- The month of January: There will be two holidays in January month that is of, January 1 and 2. 1 Jan will mark the holiday for the celebration of the new year, while January 2 will keep the people busy with the celebration of Sugar Mas 51 Carnival across the nation.
- The month of February: The days of February month will be the working days, and there will also be no official government holidays in St Kitts and Nevis:
- The month of March: The month will also book with the working days and will consist of no government holidays in the country.
- The month of April: The month of April will be filled with the celebration of the two occasions on different dates. St Kitts and Nevis will mark the holidays on April 7 in order to host Good Friday, and April 10 will be celebrated as Easter Monday.
- The month of May: The official government holidays will make the two days of the month of May to celebrate Labour Day and Whit Monday. Earlier one will be staged on May 1, 2023 while the latter will be on May 29, 2023.
- The month of June: The June month will feature no holidays and people will witness the working days throughout the month.
- The month of July: Th July month will also be busy with working days in St Kitts and Nevis.
- The month of August: The month of August will be filled with the celebration of two festivals one is Emancipation Day, marked on August 7, and the other one is Culturama Festival, celebrated on August 8 in St Kitts and Nevis.
- The month of September: There will be two holidays on September 16 and 19. The days will be marked National Heroes Day and Independence Day, respectively.
- The month of October: There will be no holidays in the month of October 2023 in St Kitts and Nevis.
- The Month of November: The status of November is the same as of October 2023.
- The Month of December: The last month of 2023 will marked two significant occasions such as Christmas on December 25 and Boxing Day on December 26, 2023.
