St Kitts and Nevis: Prime Minister Dr Timothy Harris commenced a monthly health walk in the Federation of St Kitts and Nevis on Saturday, March 19, 2022.
Prime Minister Harris informed that various people from all across the Federation had joined them in their Health Walk.
Moreover, Resident Ambassador of the Republic of China (Taiwan), Michael Lin to St Kitts and Nevis, has again accompanied Prime Minister Harris in the Health Walk.
The Ambassador had also joined PM Harris with the staffers from the Taiwanese Embassy in the monthly health walk earlier on Saturday, February 26, 2022.
While stating the health walk of this month a successful again, PM Harris noted that people from diverse backgrounds have turned out and joined the monthly Health walk.
“Such a fantastic #Health Walk today. So many turned out, young and old, diverse backgrounds too”, underscored PM Harris.
PM Harris further applauded Peoples Labour Party and exclaimed that people had supported them hugely.
He said, “We truly are the Peoples Labour Party – a party for all and delivering for the people”.
Further, several pictures of health walks have been circulated on social media in which PM Harris, along with the citizens of the Federation, is enjoying the walk.
In one of the pictures, PM Harris holds a kid in his hand and expresses pleasure. Moreover, the health walks of this month were hugely based on the convention of the PLP- Peoples Labour Party held earlier.
Further, Taiwan Embassy in St Kitts and Nevis informed that Ambassador Lin joined Dr Timothy Harris for another successful #Health Walk this morning, albeit some showers along the way.
Prime Minister Timothy Harris consider the health walk as a viable means of promoting a healthy lifestyle and physical activities.
The Morning Health Walk of St Kitts and Nevis was initiated by Prime Minister Timothy Harris in April 2007 and the parliamentary Representative for St. Christopher Seven (Belle Vue to Ottley’s).
Earlier, PM Harris also lauded Tawin Emabsdsy for their huge contribution to the development of St Kitts and Nevis.
Prime Minister Harris also presented his happiness on the visit of the Taiwanese Ambassador to St Kitts and Nevis and asserted, “Appreciate the support of staff from the Taiwan Embassy who took part in this month’s Health Walk. Always great to see our friends and colleagues walking alongside us”.
Moreover, on Sunday, March 20, 2022, Prime Minister Timothy Harris have also visited the church along with the members of the Peoples Labour Party and worshipped at Rivers of Living Water Christain Centre.
While worshipping at chruch in his regular visits, PM Harris stated,”Giving thanks to God and to Prophetess Dr. Debbie Isaac who declared to me and Minister the Hon Akilah Byron-Nisbett at today’s #praiseandworship”.
