St Kitts and Nevis: Prime Minister of St Kitts and Nevis- Dr Terrance Drew, attended the forty-fourth (44th) Regular Meeting of the Conference of CARICOM Heads of government on February 15, 2023.
The meeting is being held in Nassau, Bahamas, from February 15 to Friday, February 17, 2023, under the chairmanship of Philip Davis, Prime Minister of The Bahamas.
Prime Minister Drew is accompanied at the high-level regional dialogue by Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr Denzil Douglas; Permanent Secretary in the Prime Minister’s Office, Naeemah Hazelle; Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Kaye Bass; Head of the Regional Integration and Diaspora Unit (RIDU) in the Prime Minister’s Office, Ambassador Larry Vaughn; Press Secretary in the Prime Minister’s Office, Adelcia Connor-Ferlance; and Personal Assistant to the Prime Minister Dillon Edmeade.
Prime Minister Dr Terrance Drew took to social media and shared the update that they arrived in the Bahamas safely. He stated that the delegation of St Kitts and Nevis stopped at the American Airlines Admiral Club VIP Lounge, Nassau, Bahamas.
He cited, “We arrived in the Bahamas safely this morning and stopped at the American Airlines Admiral Club VIP Lounge, Nassau, Bahamas where we met with several Ministers of Government from Bahamas and other Caribbean Heads of Government before travelling to the 44th Meeting of the Conference of CARICOM Heads of Government.”
“The meeting will be held from February 15-17th under the Chairmanship of Prime Minister Phillip Davis, “said the prime minister.
PM Terrance Drew stated that the meeting will feature a discussion on the various matters of regional concern. He added that such meetings are helpful in strengthening the bilateral relationship between the countries.
He added, “Several pertinent matters of regional importance will be discussed during the course of this week that will positively impact our Federation.”
