St Kitts and Nevis: PLP announces nomination day schedule of candidates

Through their official page on Facebook, PLP asked the citizens to join the respective PLP candidate. The message is given as such, "If you can, come out tomorrow and join your respective PLP candidate as they officially get nominated to represent you in the August 5 General Election."

St Kitts and Nevis: People’s Labour Party (PLP) of St Kitts and Nevis announced the schedule of nomination day to nominate their candidates for the upcoming August 5 General Elections.

Through their official page on Facebook, PLP asked the citizens to join the respective PLP candidate. The message is given as such, “If you can, come out tomorrow and join your respective PLP candidate as they officially get nominated to represent you in the August 5 General Election.

Moreover, the People’s Labour Party also shared their schedule for the nomination day, where they outlined the timings of the candidates to be get nominated. 

  • Firstly, from Constituency #1- Jacqueline Byron will be nominated herself at around 11: 00 am. The nomination will be taken place at Police Training School.
  • Nubin Greaux from Constituency #2 will be nominated himself from Mc Knight Community at around 12: 00 pm.
  • Akilah Byron- Nisbett from Constituency #3 will be nominated herself St Johnstons Community Centre. It will be held at 10:00 am.
  • Kendale Liburd from Constituency #4. The nomination will be taken place at 12: 15 pm at Old Road Community Centre.
  • Stachio Williams from Constituency #5 will be nominated himself from Sandy Point Community Centre at 11:15 am.
  • Marc Williams from Constituency #6 will be nominated himself from Dieppe Bay Police Station at 11: 00 am.
  • Prime Minister Timothy Harris from Constituency #7. He will be nominated himself from Tabernacle Police Station at around 12: 00 pm.
  • Andrew Tablo Bass from Constituency #8 will be nominated himself from St Peters Community Centre. It will be held at around 12: 15 pm.

Further, PLP also announced a nomination day rally to promote their candidates. The nomination day rally will be held on Tuesday, August 26, 2022, at the Cemoaco Parking Lot. It will be held at around 7 pm. 

The message of PLP reads, “Tomorrow, July 26, all our PLP Candidates will officially be nominated as candidates for the August 5 General Election. We invite you to join us later that day at 7 pm at the Cemaco Parking Lot for our PLP Nomination Day Rally. You won’t want to miss this one.”
