St Kitts and Nevis: St Kitts and Nevis Labour Party has completed one year of assuming the office of the government in Federation. The party will celebrate its one-year anniversary of governance with different activities.

  • On Tuesday, August 1, 2023: St Kitts and Nevis Labour Party will start its celebration for the one-year completion in government at the National Town Hall.
  • On Saturday, August 5, 2023: The event will feature National Address of St Kitts and Nevis Labour Party as the activity of the one-year anniversary.
  • On Sunday, August 6, 2023: The celebration will hold at Church Service. St Kitts and Nevis will host the activities for National Day of Thanksgiving.

Prime Minister Dr Terrance Drew led St Kitts and Nevis Labour Party has launched several initiatives to uplift health, education and tourism sector. The government has been planning to introduce the renal transplant in the Federation to uplift the health sector.

Recently, PM Drew also met with young entrepreneurs this week. He said that St Kitts and Nevis have some very innovative and ambitious young people and he thinks that he will continue to do this from time to time. The conversations they had thus far were quite insightful.

“Today I decided to stop by Island Poppers at Ponds Extension to try some of the flavourful popcorn I have been hearing so much about and chat with the employees there. You can find them just before the roundabout on your way to Camps or at Ponds,”said the prime minister.

He also encouraged the youth to continue to follow their passion(s) as there is no telling where it can lead them.

Prime Minister Dr Terrance Drew also interacted with the young man at the corner of Independence Square Street and Bank Street selling local beverages daily, ‘Easy Hustle on the Corner’ is the name of his business.
