St Kitts and Nevis: Kellane Gayle becomes National Carnival Swimwear Queen 2022

Kellane Gayle secured the title of the new National Carnival Swimwear Queen 2022 as part of the Sugar Mas 51 carnival of St Kitts and Nevis.

St Kitts and Nevis: Kellane Gayle secured the title of the new National Carnival Swimwear Queen 2022 as part of the Sugar Mas 51 carnival of St Kitts and Nevis. The competition was held on December 28, 2022, at the Warner Park Stadium. She won the pageant with 619.5 points. 

St Kitts and Nevis National Carnival Committee announced the winners of the Pageant and greeted the winner. It stated, “Heartiest congratulations to Kellane Gayle, the new National Carnival Swimwear Queen. She was sponsored by Carambola White Sands.”

Besides this, the 1st runner-up position was awarded to Toriyana Freeman, Miss St. Kitts Marriott Resort. She secured the 598 points

The Pageant is one of the FANTASTIC DISPLAY of artistry, creativity, confidence and physical fitness. It’s the 2022 – 2023 National Carnival Swimwear Pageant at the Warner Park Cricket Stadium. Already voted (with a like) for the contestant you’d like to be adjudged the most popular online.

Tickets were purchased online (www.skncarnival.com) or at the National Carnival Secretariat in the EC Daniel Building on Cayon Street from 11 AM to 4 PM. 

Wishes have been poured on Kellane Gayle for securing the title which are as follows: 

Minister of Creative Economy of St Kitts and Nevis- Samal Duggins also extended greetings to Kellane Gayle and stated that courage, creativity and confidence were on full display last night. 

“Congratulations to Ms Kellane Gayle, the new National Carnival Swimwear Queen, the runner up Toriyana Freeman and the other participants for giving of themselves. We salute you, “said the minister. 

Carambola Beach Club also wished the winners and stated, “Congratulations to our QUEEN KELLANE. We knew Kellane had supermodel star power at the White Swimsuit Competition in 2019 so it’sit’s no surprise that she is the latest National Carnival Swimwear Queen. Congratulations also to the outgoing National Carnival Swimwear Queen N’GoziN’Gozi – another of our absolutely stunning White Swimwear competition alums.” 

Famous Blogger Tråvie Don also extended greetings to the winners and asserted, “Congratulations to Kellane Gayle the new National Carnival Swimwear Queen. She was sponsored by Carambola White Sands.” 

Pageantry has a long, rich history in our country with many beautiful contestants going on to achieve greatness. Since 1957, we have been staging pageants of all types. Let’s take a look back at the Carnival Queens before our festivities were nationalized in 1971. 

St Kitts and Nevis National Carnival also extended special tribute to the Queens of 1957 – 1971, first aired at the inaugural Sugar Mas Awards Ceremony held in early November.

St Kitts and Nevis have been observing the staging of the Sugar Mas 51 Carnival 2022. Various events were held in the country, and many more to come. St Kitts and Nevis National Carnival shared the update on the Junior Carnival and asked people to register for it.
