St Kitts and Nevis: The newly launched “INFOCUS” programme of St Kitts and Nevis will feature the discussion on the “Women Empowerment” in its first episode on Wednesday, March 1, 2023. The programme will be hosted by Isalean Philip- Senator and Minister of State and Azilla Clarke- Permanent Secretary (Ag).

The programme will be held at 1: 00 pm and broadcast live on ZIZ Radio 96.1 FM. It will be streamed live on Facebook and YouTube Page of SKNIS. The programme on the Women Empowerment will rebroadcast on Sundays at ZIZ TV Channel 5 at 7: 30 pm, while its rebroadcasting for Thursdays will be held at Freedom FM at 7: 30 am and VION Radio at 10: 30 am.

People can witness the rebroadcasting of the same programme on SUGAR City Rock at pm and KCN TV Channel 4 Anguilla at 7 pm on Thursday.

The INFOCUS programme has been launched by the government of St Kitts and Nevis under the theme- “Your Government, Your Business” in order to update the public about steps taken out by the administration.

Both the minister of state will outline the necessary steps taken out by the government of St Kitts and Nevis for the upliftment of women. The discussion will feature ways to improve the life of women and announce the new opportunities for them.

The programme will provide updates on the employment opportunities for women, steps for women in agriculture, business field. Along with the education parameters of the women will also be discussed in the programme. In order to normalize the education of the girls and work of women in the society, both the senator would announce the plans and programme of the government of St Kitts and Nevis.

Earlier, Prime Minister Dr Terrance Drew announced the commencement of the INFOCUS programme and stated that it has been launching the programme to keep people aware of all major developments in government.

He also invited the citizens to stay tune in with the new major developments of the various sectors of the government of St Kitts and Nevis.
