St Kitts and Nevis implements new COVID travel protocols, drops quarantine measure

The Ministry of Tourism of St Kitts and Nevis announced new restrictions related to the COVID-19 pandemic for travellers. The COVID-19 protocols came into effect on Monday, August 15, 2022

St Kitts and Nevis: The Ministry of Tourism of St Kitts and Nevis announced new restrictions related to the COVID-19 pandemic for travellers. The COVID-19 protocols came into effect on Monday, August 15, 2022.  

The instruction that comes into effect on Monday are as follows: 

  • All unvaccinated and vaccinated travellers are permitted to enter the Federation of St. Kitts and Nevis. This includes citizens, residents, and international travellers.
  • Travellers are required to complete and submit an online customs and immigration form before arrival. You will not receive approval for entry in response to your completion of the form, as this is no longer required.
  • All Covid protocols for inbound passengers, whether National or Non National have been removed completely.
  • All inbound passengers are required to complete the Embarkation-Disembarkation (ED) card online www.knatravelform.kn. for ease of transit through our border management Agencies.

Further, the Tourism Ministry also dropped various restrictions related to the COVID-19 protocols for travellers. 

From Monday, Travellers from across the globe who want to visit St Kitts and Nevis are NOT required to:

• Present a negative COVID-19 test.

• Show proof of vaccination to enter the Federation of St. Kitts and Nevis.

• Quarantine upon arrival.

COVID-19 in St Kitts and Nevis: 

The Ministry of Health stated that no new case of the COVID-19 pandemic had been reported in St Kitts and Nevis on Saturday, August 13, 2022. 

However, the country has not reported recovery against the COVID-19 pandemic in the last 24 hours. 

So far, St Kitts and Nevis have 6,492 total confirmed cases of the COVID-19 pandemic. 

A total of 23 active cases of the COVID-19 pandemic have been reported in the Federation. 

A total of 46 deaths have been reported in the country due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Out of the total deaths, 39 deaths have been reported in St Kitts, while seven were reported in Nevis. 

Since April 21 2022, the total numbers of recovered cases against the COVID-19 pandemic were 6,423. 

The total number of negative tests of the pandemic is 117,834 in the twin-island Federation.
