The preliminary round of the fourth annual St. Kitts Nevis National Co-operative League sponsored Department of Co-operatives Primary School Quiz was held on Wednesday, November 9th 2022.

St Kitts and Nevis: The preliminary round of the fourth annual St. Kitts and Nevis National Co-operative League sponsored Department of Co-operatives Primary School Quiz was held on Wednesday, November 9th 2022.
The primary schools on St Kitts were split into three zones; Basseterre, East and West.
The results were as follows:
1st place: Immaculate Conception Catholic School- Kadmiel Davis and Natalie Henry. Natalie received a commendable perfect score.
2nd place: Beach Allen Primary School- Xavier Payen and Liandre Liddie.
1st place: Newton Ground Primary School- Sharvia Michael and J’aimar Alford.
2nd place: Dieppe Bay Primary School- Tas’ Lynda Bartlette and Jordanae Bradshaw.
1st place: Joshua Obadiah Williams Primary School- Joash Davis and Ajhannyae Stoke. Joash received a commendable perfect score.
2nd place: Saddlers Primary School- Victor Pereira and Jamari Liburd
These top performers will now battle for the top spot during the final quiz, which is slated for Tuesday, November 15th, at the CUNA Caribbean Conference Centre and are scheduled to begin at 9 a.m.
Further, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Economy Development, International Trade, Investment and Commerce of St Kitts and Nevis- Dr Denzil Douglas, also extended greetings and congratulations to the winners of the primary schools Quiz Competition.
He stated that huge congratulations to Jamari Liburd and Victor Perreira, the TWO Representatives of the Saddlers Primary School and for placing SECOND after the Preliminary Round.
Students from the Cayon Primary School, Joshua Obadiah Williams Primary School, Violet Petty Primary School, Estridge Primary School, Saddlers Primary School, and Edgar T. Morris Primary School competed in the annual primary school quiz competition held by the Department of Cooperatives and the St. Kitts-Nevis National Cooperative League.
Edgar T. Morris Primary School served as the host school for the event.
The Joshua Obadiah Williams Primary school’s Joash Davis and Ajhannyae Stokes were victorious in the preliminary round of the East Zone competition, which clinched a spot for them in the championship round.
The team from Saddlers Primary School, led by Jamari Liburd and Victor Perriera, was ranked in second place after the preliminary round of the competition and will join the other teams competing in the final round on November 15th.
