St Kitts and Nevis: The St Christopher Air and Sea Ports Authority(SCASPA) announced to strengthen security border facilitation with current participation in Civil Aviation 2023 Crisis Management Aviation security training Course. 

St Kitts and Nevis Air and Sea Ports Authority proudly forms part of a federation-wide esteemed contingent in the 2023 Crisis Management Aviation Security Training Course hosted by the Civil Aviation Department.

This week-long training course commenced yesterday Monday, May 22nd and will end on Friday May 26th 2023.

Upon completion of this training course, participants will be able to;

⁃ Identify the composition and function of a crisis management team.

⁃ Acquire Knowledge on the essential components of a crisis management plan.

⁃ Understand the need for a crisis plan in order to respond to major security emergencies especially at airports.

The course structure also consist of seven (7) modules ranging from the concept of crisis management to tests and exercises relating to crisis management.

The training course saw Representatives from the St Kitts-Nevis Fire and Rescue Services, St Kitts International Ground Services, Maritime Department, St Kitts and Nevis Customs and Excise Department, the Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force, Ministry of Health and TDC.
