St Kitts and Nevis: The Grill Fest Competition, part of the St Kitts-Nevis Restaurant Week, has turned out to be a success. It has consisted of very talented chefs in the Federation. 

All foodies and grill enthusiasts attended the competition on Saturday, June 22, 2023. The grill is fired up, the vibes are electric, and the food is smoking with flavour. 

The mouthwatering event is happening in real-time; whether they are grilling pros, a devoted food lover, or simply looking for a day of scrumptious fun, Grill Fest is where it’s at. 

Indulge in irresistible eats, connect with fellow food enthusiasts, and make memories which keep the attendees coming back for seconds. It also featured interactive activities and live entertainment, which keeps everyone smiling, from face painting to toe-tapping music. 

Grill Fest was also attended by Christel Joseph, and he experienced an unforgettable journey of sizzling flavours. This epic event is about to set the grills on fire at Frigate Bay Lawn and tantalize the taste buds with mouthwatering bites and soak up the sizzling summer vibes. 

Prime Minister of St Kitts and Nevis- Dr Terrance Drew, also shared snapshots of the fest. He said that the Grill Fest Competition, part of the St Kitts Restaurant Week, was a success. 

“We have some very talented chefs here in Saint Kitts and Nevis. Thank you for coming out and supporting the initiative. Congratulations to the Ministry of Tourism and the St Kitts Tourism Authority, “said the prime minister. 

Denzil Douglas- Minister of Foreign Affairs of St Kitts and Nevis, said that the First Ever St Kitts Grill Fest Competition 2023, which was held at the Frigate Bay Lawn on Saturday, July 22, was organized by the St Kitts Tourism Authority.

“Congratulations to All Participants and Winners and to Tourism Authority and all who made the First St Kitts Fest Competition 2023 a SUCCES, “said the minister. 

St Kitts and Nevis Restaurant Week 2023 featured several exciting events. From the Tourism Tasting event, the Carambola Tasting event, then the Nevis Tasting and the inaugural Cook Sip and Glamp event. The Grill Fest, to the culmination of the Park Hyatt Tasting tonight.

This week is to get the locals to go out and support the restaurants during the off-season of Tourism.

Restaurant Week’s “Cook, Sip and Glamp” made its daring entrance into the hearts and bellies of the guests as they were absolutely mesmerized by the glam scenery, fragrant aromas creating fantastic memories of food, friendships and mellow music while they sip away on glasses of wine.

Host, Rohanda Devent, shared in each table’s excitement as she was mauled by guests to showcase their special dishes. The event proved to be an all-around good time with good food, good company, and great music in a beautiful environment creating nothing but good moods all evening.

Cook, Sip and Glamp is an event that coalesces food, wine and glamping -glamorous camping – into one unique event. The event drives home culinary arts as a staple pillar in the Venture Deeper Campaign, the newest marketing campaign from the St Kitts Ministry of Tourism and the St Kitts Tourism Authority.
