St Kitts and Nevis: St Kitts and Nevis showcased its presence at this year’s Seatrade Global, popularly known as the cruise industry’s leading annual business-to-business event.

Minister of Tourism Marsha T. Henderson is leading a delegation consisting of officers of St. Kitts and Nevis Tourism Authorities, SCASPA, UDC, and public and private cruise stakeholders of the Federation. The delegation’s mission is to boost the destination’s competitiveness as a cruise destination.

Sea Trade offers local businesses opportunities to engage directly with cruise line executives and promote their product offerings. The team has been engaged in productive dialogues to promote the destination’s upcoming Summer of Fun Events and has gained insightful feedback on the destination’s performance as a cruise destination.

As the cruise sector rebounds, the team continues to actively seek opportunities to enhance the on-island experience, thus increasing passenger spend to stimulate economic activity and further cement the destination’s position as a premier cruise destination.

The St Kitts Tourism Authority continues to promote its Summer of Fun Campaign to increase St. Kitts’ repute as a year-long tourism destination.

Recent promotions for the campaign were evident through a media event that hosted influencers and journalists from Miami and Fort Lauderdale.

The Summer of Fun campaign strives to increase stay-over visitation during the summer months. Grand opportunities for visitors include the St Kitts Music Festival, Mango Festival, St. Kitts- Nevis Restaurant Week, Culturama, and the Caribbean Premier League (CPL).

St Kitts delegation led by Marsha T. Henderson attends Routes America 2023, one of the region’s leading events that allows industry professionals to build high-value relationships.

Officials continue to network and negotiate growth opportunities for air service development and marketing of the destination. The Minister of Tourism, Marsha T.
