St Kitts and Nevis: The Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries, and Marine Resources of St Kitts have launched Swim Programme to teach the various lessons related to the water and swimming in the capital of the Federation of St Kitts and Nevis- Basseterre.
The swim programme has been launched to teach the water lessons to the people of St Kitts and Nevis. The Swim programme starts on Saturday- April 9, 2022. The swim programme has been launched at the St Kitts Nevis Defence Force Coast Guard Base in Bird Rock, Basseterre.
The swim programme has launched every Saturday after between 0900-and 1200 hours.
While encouraging the people of the twin-island Federation, the ministry of agriculture stated, “Take advantage of these in water lessons that will be taught at the St Kitts Nevis Defence Force Coast Guard Base in Bird Rock, Basseterre.”
Here are the criteria for the eligibility to take participation in the Swim Programme of St Kitts and Nevis:
- The age limit should be varied between 10-and 17 years old.
- Children who are under 16 must have to be accompanied by parents or guardians.
- The timing for the programme should be varied from 9 am to 12 pm every Saturday.
- The location is the Coast Guard Base, Birdrock.
- The swim Programme is open to the general public.

The Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries, and Marine Resources have announced the launch of the Agriculture Open Day 2022 for this summer. The Ministry informed that the Agriculture Open Day of St Kitts will be held from Thursday to Friday- April 28, to April 29, 2022.
St Kitts Agriculture OPEN DAY will be held at the Newtown Playfield. The Ministry has encouraged the people to participate in the Open Day and stated, “We told you the RETURN will be BIGGER and BETTER!”
The theme of the St Kitt Agriculture OPEN DAY of this year 2022 is, “Enhancement, Innovation, and Sustainability: Agriculture and Fisheries Our Priority”.
