Trinidad and Tobago: Social Media filled with notes of condolences on the sudden demise of the local entertainer Rennie Ramnarine in Trinidad and Tobago.
Rennie battled chronic kidney failure a couple of years ago, and early this morning, he passed away due to the worse conditions.
One of the users Dr Roodal Moonilal – Member of Parliament for Oropouche East, also extended condolences. He said that on behalf of the constituency of Oropouche East and myself, he extended her deepest condolences to the Ramnarine family during this difficult time.
He said that Trinidad and Tobago had lost a musical icon in Rennie Ramnarine, whose talent and contributions enriched our culture and brought joy to many.
“May you find strength and comfort in the memories of his remarkable life, and may his music continue to resonate in our hearts forever. Our thoughts and prayers are with you as you navigate through this profound loss, and may our brother’s journey be without hindrance and obstacles, “said the member of parliament.
Taj 92.3fm also took to Social Media and expressed deep grief on the passage of Rennie Ramnarine. It added, “DIL E NADAN universe is mourning. To the family, friends and all of his dear fans who loved and cherished our brother, Rennie Ramnarine.”
It added that they regret to announce that he’s no longer with us in this physical world. Rennie battled chronic kidney failure a couple of years ago, and early this morning, he passed away.

Local entertainer Rennie Ramnarine passed away on Monday morning, after a battle with kidney failure. Ramnarine was a lead vocalist with his family band, Dil-E-Nadan, along with his brothers Raymond and Richard Ramnarine.
He was a father of three. His father, Ramnarine “Tole” Moonilal, was laid to rest in January. Ramnarine was diagnosed with end-stage kidney failure in 2019, and was undergoing dialysis treatment.
His death was confirmed in a social media post by his brother, Raymond Ramnarine. He wrote: “To the family, friends and all of his dear fans who loved and cherished our brother, Rennie Ramnarine.
In a recent interview, Ramnarine said he was determined to find joy in each day and started every morning sketching and colouring a different cartoon character. He said it was joyful and therapeutic.
Four days ago Ramnarine posted a photo to his Facebook page saying he had been on dialysis treatment for four years. And three days ago he celebrated his family’s band 62nd anniversary.
