St Kitts and Nevis: The newly formed Cabinet of St Kitts and Nevis has conducted their first meeting, dubbed cabinet meeting, under the leadership of Prime Minister Dr Terrance Drew.
On Monday, August 15, 2022, Prime Minister Drew called their first cabinet meeting productive. Through his social media, he wrote, “The A-Team working on behalf of our nation and our people is serious business because we care. Today’s first cabinet meeting has been quite productive.”
PM Drew, along with invited persons, welcomed the members of his Cabinet in the Cabinet Room of the Office of the Prime Minister. The meeting featured the full slate of Cabinet members, including Deputy Prime Minister Dr Geoffrey Hanley; Dr Denzil Douglas; Konris Maynard; Samal Duggins; Marsha Henderson, Senator Garth Wilkin, Attorney General, and Senator Dr Joyelle Clarke.
While showing their commitment to the nation, PM Terrance Drew stated that the administration is ready and fully committed to working in the best interest of the people of St Kitts and Nevis.
In delivering brief remarks, Prime Minister Dr Drew noted that his administration is ready and fully committed to working in the best interest of the people of St. Kitts and Nevis.
Further, St Kitts and Nevis Labour Party-led government have completed their one week in government. They stated that they have begun to deliver BIG for the people of St Kitts and Nevis.
Throughout the 2022 election campaign, SKNLP Leader, now Prime Minister, Dr Terrance Drew, and his A-team made a number of promises to the people. Within one week of sitting in government, the SKNLP-led government has delivered four key and major promises.
