SKN Patriots win over Guyana Warriors, while St Lucia Kings registers third win of CPL 2021

St Kitts and Nevis Patriots had a classic win over Guyana Amazon Warriors with six wickets on Sunday in Windsor Park, Basseterre. Warriors were only able to score 166 at a loss of 3 wickets, whereas Patriots scored 168 at a loss of 4 wickets within 19.2 overs. 

Mohammad Hafeez tried his best to register a win for Guyana Amazon Warriors with 70 runs of contribution in the final score but still could not achieve it. Warriors won the toss and chose to bat first. 

While in the other match, St Lucia Kings win the game against Trinbago Knight Riders. Kings scored 157 runs at a loss of 5 wickets, while Riders managed to score only 152 runs at a loss of 3 wickets in 20 overs. An incredible 42 runs from Tim David of St Lucia Kings took him to the top of the CPL21 run-scoring charts and helped his team win the match. 

Both the matches were incredible and fascinating to watch. 

St Kitts and Nevis Patriots, with their yesterday’s win, has made hatrick in the CPL 2021 by winning all the matches played so far by the team and is on top at the points table. 

At second in the point table comes Jamaica Tallawahs( 1 lost, one win)

then Trinbago Knight Riders with (2 lost, one win), then Guyana Amazon Warriors(played three matches, lost 2 won 1). 

At 5th position comes Barbados Royals, with one win and two lost matches and at last comes St Lucia Kings with one game won and one lost.  

On Tuesday, 31 August 2021, Trinbago Knight Riders will be seen playing against St Lucia Kings, and Barbados Royals would face Jamacia Tallawahs.
