Grenada: The scholarships for Chinese Universities for undergraduate programmes, master’s programmes or doctoral programmes has reopened for the students of Grenada.
The scholarship is provided with the collaboration between the government of the People’s Republic of China and the government of the Caribbean country. The Chinese government offer scholarship to the individuals to study in different universities of China ever year.
While announcing the eligibility criteria, the government of China invited the applicants for the scholarship for studying in China.

- All applicants MUST be in good health (mentally and physically)
- The applicants applying for the scholarship should be a citizen of Grenada
- All applicants must be a high school graduate under 25 years old when applying for undergraduate programmes
- All applicants must be bachelor’s degree holder under 35 years old when applying for master’s programmes
- The applicants applying for the scholarship should be a master’s degree holder under 40 years old when applying for doctoral programmes
- All applicants must be a high school graduate (at least) under 45 years old when applying for general scholar programmes
- All applicants must be a master’s degree holder or an associate professor (or above) under the age of 50 when applying for senior scholar programmes
- The applicants must meet the admission requirements of the applied universities in terms of academic ability, language proficiency and other relevant criteria
- The applicants applying for the scholarships must have acquired the Chinese proficiency of HSK Level 3 when applying for Chinese-taught undergraduate or general scholar programmes (those studying Chinese language are exempt)
The government of Grenada also announced the schedule of the Chinese HSK 1 to 3 classes.

- HSK 1: The classes will be held on Mondays and Wednesdays. The time for the classes is 4:30 to 6:00 pm. The Classes will begin on 25 September to 13 December, 2023
- HSK 2: The classes will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The time for the classes is 4:30 to 6:00 pm Classes begin from 26 September to 14 December, 2023.
- HSK 3: The classes will be held on Fridays and Sundays. The time for the classes is 6:30-8:30 pm. Classes begin from 29 September to December 17, 2023
- Location: The classes will be held at Confucius Institute, Tanteen campus
- Cost: The cost for the classes is EC $80 inclusive of registration (Free for all faculty, staff and TAMCC students). There will be only pay for HSK examination and certification.
