Castries, Saint Lucia: Participants of the World ARC Pacific race were bided farewell at the Bay Gardens Beach Resort in Saint Lucia on February 16, 2023, as they gear up for what has been dubbed “an exhilarating encounter.”

Because of the pent-up demand for participating in the World ARC, the ARC Pacific now serves as the second leg of the World ARC, sailing from Saint Lucia on February 18 to the finish line in Australia.

ARC Pacific has welcomed 29 vessels and 110 participants from as far as South Korea, Poland, French countries, England, and America. Speaking on behalf of the Saint Lucia Tourism Authority, Public Relations Manager Geraine Georges remarked, “World ARC Pacific 2023 promises to be an unforgettable adventure, and we wish you all good health, team spirit, and safety. They know that this is a phenomenal feat that they are braving, and they applaud your courage and strength

The time spent with us cannot go unnoticed, as you have filled our hearts with your presence, and this event brings many benefits to Saint Lucia’s economy. By spreading the good word about our island, you are contributing to the tourism industry by bringing in visitors looking for activities that are unique to the island.”

ARC Pacific is an opportunity for sailors to experience the world uniquely. The race is full of adventure, excitement, and challenges. Participants must be prepared for whatever the ocean may bring. It is also a chance for sailors to make new memories, explore unknown lands, and have a once-in-a-lifetime experience.

World Arc Pacific is produced in partnership with World Cruising Club, Saint Lucia Tourism Authority, IGY Rodney Bay Marina, Bay Gardens Resorts, and Events Saint Lucia.
