The Saint Lucia Tourism Authority is continuing to amplify its efforts in the Guyana market and promote the recently introduced connection between the two countries.

Castries, Saint Lucia: The Saint Lucia Tourism Authority is continuing to amplify its efforts in the Guyana market and promote the recently introduced connection between the two countries. Christopher Gustave, Marketing Manager for Caribbean, Events, and Sports, recently visited Guyana to promote British Airways’ service on Mondays and Thursdays, as well as conduct meetings and training sessions with the Travel Trade about Caribcation Saint Lucia.

Gustave was a guest on 94.1’s morning show with Gordon Mosely, a well-known journalist and radio personality, where he had the opportunity to promote the destination’s offerings, ease of connectivity, the Jazz & Arts Festival from May 5th -14th, and the Carnival from July 1st – 19th.

Gustave joined officials from the honeymoon destination at the ceremony commemorating British Airways’ inaugural service at the Cheddi Jagan International Airport, and the delegation subsequently boarded the service to the Hewanorra International Airport in the destination, where the flight was also commemorated.

“By introducing this new service between Guyana and Saint Lucia, we are strengthening the connection between our two countries and providing visitors with a unique opportunity to explore the exciting destination of Saint Lucia and the strong potential of Guyana as a tourism market”, remarked Christopher Gustave.

Saint Lucia and Guyana are further strengthening economic partnerships with the introduction of a new service with British Airways from March 27, 2023, providing direct access to both countries. Guyana’s Tourism Minister recently visited Saint Lucia to add value to the partnership and discuss new opportunities to promote both countries that will ensure that both the countries benefit from increased tourism and economic growth.

With the demand for travel and Destination Saint Lucia, British Airways also commenced servicing Tobago via the country on March 28, 2023. This new connection will provide travelers with convenient access to Tobago and promote tourism to both destinations.
