Castries, Saint Lucia: The Ministry of Youth, Development and Sports of Saint Lucia will host the Basketball Camp. The Camp will be started on December 14, 2022, and concluded on December 30, 2022.
The Camp will be held at Kenneth Wriggle King Court, “The Gardens”, and open for boys and girls of age 8 to 20.
The Camp will be held under the theme- “Basketball for the future Pitbulls with an aim to sharpen the ball skills of the people. The tournament will be started at 9 am and end at 3 pm every day.

- The tournament will be started with an Early Morning Drop Off at 8: 30 am.
- The second event will be Camp begins at 9: 00 am.
- The third event will be Team Building Stretch and Warm-up from 9: 00 am to 9: 15 am.
- The fourth event will be Fundamental Skills and Drills from 9: 15 am to 9: 45 am.
- The fifth event will be the Station work of Shooting Factory from 9: 45 am to 10: 30 am.
- The sixth event will be a Full Ballhandling competition from 10: 30 am to 11: 00 am.
- The seventh event will be games from 11: 00 am to 11: 45 am.
- The eighth event will be Lunch under the “Walk With Luch”. The snacks will be provided to the audience and players from 11: 45 am to 12: 30 pm.
- The ninth event will be Lecture and Clinic Team Practice from 12: 30 pm to 12: 45 pm.
- The tenth event will be skills and drills from 12: 45 pm to 1 pm.
- The 11th event will be Games and Competitions to entertain and encourage the participants. The event will be started from 1 pm to 3 pm.
- The 12th and last event will be dismissal, starting at 3 pm.
Registration for the Camp is open at EC$ 75.
The government of Saint Lucia has been working tirelessly to uplift the sports sector as they hosted various sporting events. Recently, the Ministry of Sports hosted netball series of the Under-17 and Under-19 students.
