Castries, Saint Lucia: Saint Lucia Football Team secured its second back-to-back victory in the 2023 CONCACAF Nations League. The team won the match by 2-0 runs against St Kits and Nevis at the Darren Sammy Cricket Ground, Gros Islet.
With the victory, Saint Lucia National Men’s Senior Football Team took its hold on the Group A of League B. The team stood at the first place in the medal standing of the CONCACAF League B.
Riden Stanislas of Saint Lucia was yet again on the scoresheet in their game against St.Kitts and Nevis in the CONCACAF Nations League. Saint Lucia won the game 2-0, Ridel scoring the second goal for the evening.

While getting best opportunities of the first half for Saint Lucia, the corner kick in the 20’s has given good start to the team. However, Jevick MacFarlane was denied by the right post.
The performance of goalkeeper of St Kitts and Nevis- Julani Archibald has kept things scoreless with a stop at the far post in the 40’s. After that right back Alvinus Myers looked connected with Ridel Stanisals of Saint Lucia.
Further, the goalkeeper of Saint Lucia Vino Barclette provided good and crucial to their team in the 49’s. They have denied Keithroy Freeman at the far post.
In the 75 minute of the game, Ridel Stanislas provided further lead to Saint Lucia. He made another goal with a long-distance chip from left field that bounced off the far post.
Barclettt camp up with another big stop in the 81 minutes of the game. He denied the chance of the visitors to cut the deficit. Second later, Archibald was asked to make another save to impede the counter attack on the other end of the field.

The victory made Saint Lucia to capture the top spot in the standings of the League B of the CONCACAF Nations League 2023. It provides perfect chance to Saint Lucia to qualify for the world cup.
As per the medal standings, Saint Lucia played two matches one against Sint Maarten and other against St Kitts and Nevis. They secured victory in these two matches with the goal difference of +6. The total point of the team in the League is 6.
Saint Lucia earlier secured victory against Sint Maarten with the goal difference 5-1. Both the matches led the team to hold great position in the game.
