In a revamped schedule of the Concacaf Boys U 15 tournament, Saint Lucia now finds themselves in Group G of League B together with Aruba, Bermuda and Cayman Islands.

Castries, Saint Lucia: In a revamped schedule of the Concacaf Boys U 15 tournament, Saint Lucia now finds themselves in Group G of League B together with Aruba, Bermuda and Cayman Islands.

In their opening fixture against Bermuda on Sunday morning, St. Lucia was triumphant 2 – 0. Their next encounter is on Monday 7th August at 9.00 am against Cayman Islands followed by Aruba on Tuesday 8th August at 11.00 am. 

Meanwhile, Group C of the Caribbean Club Shield got into action on Friday 4th August in which Etoile Matoury of French Guiana defeated B1 FC of Saint Lucia 4-0 at the At Kitts National Football Association Technical Centre.

All four goals were scored in the first half, beginning with two goals in the first 10 minutes from Calvin Soga in the 5th and Jimmy Benice in the 8th. Wilfried Andrews made it 3-0 in the 36th before Galimo Wilfried closed things out in the 44th for the 4 – 0 final result.

Meanwhile B 1 suffered their second straight defeat going down to Robin Hood FC out of Bermuda 5 – 0. Shaquille Cairo once again proved a handful, scoring a pair of goals in the 35th and 45th and was joined on the scoresheet by Roche Rosebel in the 21st, Tuur Don in the 74th and Carlos Da Silva in the 86th min. 

Robinhood now have six points after two games in Group C.

The Vieux Fort South Football League Senior Men football competition sponsored by the St. Lucia National Lotteries Authority kicked off on Saturday 5th August at the Phillip Marcellin Grounds with a double header.

In the first encounter, Knights defeated Shamballa Shiloh 2 – 0. They got their goals from Anthony Williams 19th and Baby Emmanuel in the 63rd min.

In the other game played, Stable Boys recorded a convincing 5 – 0 victory over Mangue U C, with goals from Shaquille Esphane 8th and 38th min, Archie Vigie 35th and 67th min and Daniel Norbert in the 44th min.

The action continued on Sunday 6th August with another double header. Playing the first game Uptown Rebels edged out Knights FC 1 – 0 with a goal from Jason Isidore in the 20th min.

Platinum FC also defeated Victory Eagles 1 by the same margin with a goal from Jaheim Ferdinand in the 13th min.
