Castries, Saint Lucia: The Saint Lucia Tourism Authority continues to strategically position the destination in the global marketplace, taking part in ITB Berlin 2023, the “World’s Leading Travel Trade Show” focused on B2B customers.
From Tuesday, March 7 to Thursday, March 9, CEO Lorine Charles- St Jules will lead the Saint Lucia Delegation focused on exhibiting Saint Lucia’s tourism offerings to trade visitors, buyers, and the media. She is Joined by the Director of Marketing for the UK and Ireland, Patricia Charlery-Leon.
The “World’s Leading Travel Trade Show” is currently held at the Berlin ExpoCenter City exhibition center, which is in the west of the city and is expected to bring together 10,000 exhibitors and 160,000 visitors from 180 countries to network, negotiate and do business in person, for the first time since 2019.
Saint Lucia is hosting several strategic meetings and participating in speed networking events, intended to be of significant benefit to the destination.
Saint Lucia has been leading in offering best tourism products as earlier 39 hikers from Guadeloupe’s Les Marcheurs de l’Aube (The Dawn Walkers) recently arrived in Saint Lucia for a weekend of exploration and adventure.
The group of explorers arrived in Saint Lucia on February 15 and wasted no time in getting to the summit of the Pitons on February 16, as they were eager to experience the unique terrain of the island.
The Dawn walkers noted that it was a challenging yet rewarding journey that provided them with an unforgettable experience. The hikers are now looking forward to the rest of their time in Saint Lucia and the other exciting places they will explore on their journey.
From the Pitons to the beaches and the rainforests, the group is sure to create more memories that they will cherish for years to come.
