The Saint Lucia Football Association, through its Facebook Page, announced that SLFA Inc Island Premier Cup continued on Wednesday, 2nd November.

Castries, Saint Lucia: The Saint Lucia Football Association, through its Facebook Page, announced that SLFA Inc Island Premier Cup continued on Wednesday, 2nd November. Over at the Gros Islet, Playing Field Dennery, buoyed by their Blackheart triumph, secured a comfortable 4 – 2 victory over Marchand.

Dennery got their goals from Kesley Jn. Baptiste 29th, Sherman St. Rose 68th Garvin Reggie 73rd and Elijah Joseph 84th min.

Scoring for Marchand were Javis Joseph in 66th and Janie Desmond in the 4th min of added on time. The soggy and deteriorating surface prevented the other game between La Clery and Gros Islet to be played.

Down at the Phillip Marcellin grounds in Vieux Fort, Desruisseaux and Vieux Fort North shared the points as they played to an exciting 2 – 2 draw.

At the end of the first half, Vieux Fort North enjoyed a 2 – 0 cushion at half time with a strike from Luester Mitchel 28th min and an own goal by Hubert Joseph in the 43rd min.

However, when they thought they had sewn up the encounter Desruisseaux responded with goals in the 1st min of added on time by Dwight Preudhomme and the equaliser by Davian Jetrum in the 3rd min of added on time.

In the other game played Central Castries and Vieux Fort South played to a 2 – 2 draw. Scoring for Central Castries were Andrez Daniel and Jamal Wilfred in the 25th and 49th min respectively, while Riquelme Elva 46th and Fashion Classe in the 6th min of added on time scored for Vieux Fort South.
